Stuart - Founder & Head Coach

I didn’t grow up loving fitness — in fact, I did everything I could to avoid it. But that’s what makes me so passionate about helping others find a way to enjoy movement and feel proud of their progress. Over the past 20 years, I’ve explored dozens of training styles and nutritional approaches. I’ve learned what works, what doesn’t, and—most importantly—how to make fitness a rewarding, lifelong habit. I coach because I genuinely care about helping people get stronger physically and mentally. Whether you're a complete beginner or coming back after years away, I’m here to support, guide and challenge you — at your pace, on your terms.

I know what it’s like to want to feel stronger — and how intimidating it can be to take that first step. That’s why I coach: to make strength training accessible, encouraging, and something people actually enjoy. Whether I’m coaching in the gym or helping someone get their first pull-up, my goal is to build confidence, not just muscle. I care deeply about the people I coach and love seeing them realise just how capable they truly are. When you train here, you’re not just another member — you’re someone we’re invested in, and I’ll always meet you where you are.

For me, the gym was somewhere I initially went to just to grow some muscles. I soon realised that to get the most out of it, it requires a complete lifestyle change that teaches you discipline, which translates into everyday life. It’s so much more than just building physical strength and functionality, but taking control of your life and making positive decisions for your own health. The big driving force behind coaching for me is to make training both rewarding and exciting for anyone, no matter your background. What began as a small personal goal for me quickly became a lifelong passion for growth and learning. My goal is to meet you where you’re at, coach you at your own pace and give you support every step of the way.
