Get even better results in less time with Small Group Personal Training

What is Small Group Personal Training?

Small Group Personal Training involves small group training sessions for up to 5 people where one of our coaches will guide you through your own training programme.

Your programme is carefully put together to ensure that it will effectively help you reach your goals safely without wasting any of your valuable time.

Depending upon the package you opt for you will train 1-3 times every week.

If you aren’t super fit to start with, no worries. Although Small Group Training is in a small group format we will be there to ensure you go at a pace that is suitable for you.

How can Semi Private Training Help Me?

Small Group Personal Training is a great choice for lots of reasons.

Here are just a few.

More Effective Sessions = Better Results

Cross Functional Fitness Small Group Personal Training sessions are organised so that all clients receive a personal training workout. The programme you follow is unique tailored to your own personal goals and level of ability.

Have More Fun

Having other like minded people along side you while training, is much more fun than going it alone. It can also be great fun to come together as a group at the end of some sessions for conditioning and core work.

More Cost Effective

Small Group Personal Training means you can have 2-3 sessions each week for a cost that is much more sustainable in the long term for most people.

Get More Training Sessions In

As said above, you can get about 3x Small Group Personal Training Sessions for about 1/2 the price of 3x 1-2-1 Personal Training sessions. This means you can now train more frequently with a coach at your side.

More time with a personal trainer is only going to enhance your results.

Join an Exciting New Tribe

At Cross Functional Fitness, we have a wonderful group of members who get to know each other, hang out outside the gym and it makes for a fantastic family / social feel to the facility.

Small Group Training allows you to build new friendships with your gym partners and benefit from their experience as well as your trainer’s.

Booking Flexibility

You don’t have to stick to the same slots each week. If you schedule changes, you can change your training slots to suit using our booking app. We have over 12 slots to choose from each week.

You’ll get access to our app where you can see what slots are available, which coach is taking the sessioin and book in at times that suits you best.

Build New Friendships

If you ask the members of Cross Functional Fitness what’s the best thing about it – The atmosphere and banter will likely be up there. Cross Functional Fitness isn’t a normal gym and you can sense the friendship and support from everyone every time you attend.

Added Motivation

Training with others who are like minded can be extremely motivating. Seeing others who are just like you show up and push themselves, stay focused and inspired will help keep you on track when you’re just not feeling like it.

Still not sure about training with others?

I get it.

If you’re currently not used to training in small groups it might feel a bit scary. But if you ask anyone who has tried it, they actually prefer to train with others now over 1-2-1 training.

Book Sessions That Suit Your Schedule

You can book your chosen number of sessions weeks in advance so that it suits your schedule. You can choose between 1-3 sessions per week and then drop into any sessions which suit your schedule.

Meet New Friends

Not only can you get expert help achieving your fitness goals. You can also meet new people and make new friends. Not only do you get to benefit from amazing workout sessions, but you get to become part of a vibrant community of like minded local people who you might not otherwise be able to connect with.

Get Amazing Results

Studies have shown that training in small groups actually improves the effectiveness of the sessions because of the community effect it involves. This is the same reason why many top professional athletes train in small groups. The sense of camaraderie and support from like-minded people actually helps improve your motivation and your level of effort you put into each session!

Case Studies

I have been training with Stuart at Cross Functional Fitness for over 18 months now, both PT sessions with my wife and the Total Body Toning Classes. PT sessions have been great, tailored to what we want, every session is different and enjoyable. The Total Body Toning Classes are unique in the industry and cater for everyone’s needs in the class – the craic is always good too!! Stuart is dedicated to providing a professional gym experience, he is knowledgable and passionate about what he does and I would highly recommend.

David Craughwell

I have been going to Stuart this past 9 months and I have loved every minute of it. I loved the fact that I was training on my own with no pressure from others around me. I would highly recommend Stuart to anyone thinking of starting a personal trainer as he is very good at his job and knows how to make every session different yet geared to your needs and ability.

Emma dONAGHY

Having spent the last 9 months personal training with Stuart at Crossfunctional fitness, I can safely say I would highly recommend him as a PT. He genuinely cares and has great passion for his job. Each session is different, yet tailored to ensure you meet your goals. Sessions are engaging and progress/form is monitored closely throughout. Stuart is very knowledgeable about all things fitness and nutrition related and incorporates and passes this on during sessions

Our mission

Our mission through Cross Functional Fitness is to help as many people as possible to enjoy the process of getting fitter, using their body to best of its ability, instilling confidence and belief that they can achieve the physical goals that they set themselves and providing them with the tools, advice and expertise to make it happen.

About me

My name is Stuart Thompson and I’m the owner and coach of Cross Functional Fitness. I’ve been able to help hundreds of people just like you to get slimmer, stronger, more toned and fitter through my face to face Personal Training service and also remotely through my Online Coaching service.

Since 2017 my schedule for face to face sessions has been tightly crammed which has frustrated me. I became limited in the amount of people I could reach and help achieve their goals.

In order to help even more people get in shape, I decided to set up Small Group Personal Training.

I’m very excited to share this with you and I’m excited to help you achieve that goal you’re dreaming of.
